How It Started…
After losing a close friend unexpectedly, his world grew quieter in a way he never anticipated. Grief has a way of reshaping priorities, and in the stillness that followed, he found himself reflecting on what truly mattered.
He had been fortunate in life and knew he had both the means and the time to make a difference. More than anything, he felt a deep pull to honor his friend not through words, but through action. Helping others became a way to turn loss into purpose.
Today, he dedicates his time and resources to lifting up those who are struggling—people facing moments when help can mean everything. Through each act of generosity, he carries forward the spirit of compassion, believing that even in loss, hope can be shared and lives can be touched.

How Cultivating Hope Foundation Is Making a Difference
“Thank you so much for partnering
with us in the Gospel!”
“We are stunned and thankful
for the gift we received recently. It will help pay bills!”
“I do not know how to express my sincere gratitude for your gift. This came at a very critical time. I have been putting off getting new glasses for 2 years. I live on SS, check to check. Now I can afford them. With all my heart, I thank you. God Bless you!”
“Dear friends, I received an unexpected check from the foundation yesterday. I am very grateful for this support. I am assuming this is an anonymous donation. I would like to be able to send a thank you to whomever made the donation if possible. If you are able, please provide information so that I can do so! If it is anonymous, then I will simply express my deep gratitude in this letter. Thank you very much!”
“My wife and I were the recipients of an envelope presented to us yesterday at church. It seems this phone number is the only connection to be able to say thank you. Please accept our grateful acknowledgment of your gift from the bottom of our hearts. The timing was perfect and came after a time of prayer where we had asked for the Lord’s help. God bless you today!”
“Dear Friends, You made our day! Thank you for giving to help create dynamic, Christ-centered communities that transform the world. We’re excited to start a new partnership with you.
Your donation was received for our missionary projects, thank you!”
